The 27-year-old man from Turkey was visiting relatives with whom he treated himself to a day of swimming at Schwarzlsee on Sunday. In the early evening he was suddenly no longer to be found, which is why his family called the authorities around 7.30 p.m. A large search operation started immediately. Found dead near the shore In addition to the Unterpremstätten fire brigade, the Graz/Graz area diving squadron was also on site, the water rescue team was also on duty, as were the police dog squadron and the Red Cross. Divers finally found the lifeless body at 8:50 p.m of the man near the shore. It is still unclear how the fatal accident happened. The man’s relatives were cared for by the Red Cross and the crisis intervention team.
