The Red Hot Chili Peppers are back! The rock band not only announces a new album for April, but also a world tour.

Now the rumors have been confirmed: The Californian rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced a new album. “Unlimited Love” will be released on April 1, 2022 and is available for pre-order now. There will also be a corresponding world tour in the summer, which will also take the band to Cologne (July 5th) and Hamburg (July 12th).

“We have only one goal: to lose ourselves in the music,” the band said in a statement on the announcement. You’ve spent thousands of hours honing your craft. A first taste of the new work is the first Single release “Black Summer”which is already available.

John Frusciante celebrates his album comeback

On the new album, guitarist John Frusciante (51) also celebrates his comeback in the band, who will be heard on an album by the “Chili Peppers” for the first time since 2006. “Unlimited Love” is the twelfth studio album by the band around singer Anthony Kiedis (59) and the first long player since “The Gateaway” from 2016.
