Red roses: filming is put on hold because of Corona

Stop shooting as a preventive measure

First "storm of love", now "red roses". Many German series and telenovelas have to believe in it and stop shooting. The risk is too great that the actors and the crew will become infected and spread the virus unnecessarily. A measure that is essential in times of the Corona crisis. Even if no one has been infected yet, a statement by Emmo Lempert, producer and managing director of Studio Hamburg Serienwerft says:

Fortunately, none of us are infected and have to be quarantined. We have currently implemented all of the measures specified by the RKI and more. We still shoot until Friday and then pause.

What's next now?

So does that also mean that viewers will soon have to do without their beloved series. Because: no new material, no new episodes. It's that simple. But fans can breathe a sigh of relief. According to the statement by Emmo Lempert, according to the current plans, one can "stay on the air without interruption". Yeah!

Because like other programs broadcast daily, "Rote Rosen" is filmed with a production lead time of 9 to 10 weeks. This means: If the shoot is actually only stopped for 1 to 2 weeks, there is no interruption. We were lucky again. Now all you have to do is keep your fingers crossed that the measure ordered will not be extended.
