The next title from Arkane Austin (Dishonored, Prey) and Bethesda Softworks, red fall, continues to be at the forefront of the video game scene in recent weeks. Indeed, during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase conference this year, players were able to discover a new video, featuring gameplay footage. But that’s not all.
The development studio and publisher in charge of the title have just unveiled a new trailer, called “Welcome to Redfall”. This visual communication takes the opportunity to remind that Redfall is a first person shooter can be traveled by solo or in cooperation (up to 4 people, in total). Furthermore, offering a open worldthe app invites players to explore the different areas available and, thus, discover mystical, even terrifying places.
In addition, this new video presents the playable characters : Layla Ellison, Remi de la Rosa, Devinder Crousley and Jacob Boyer. The latter is a former army sniper, while Layla is a student telekineticist. Devinder, meanwhile, is a curious cryptozoologist and Remi, the military engineer. Moreover, it will be possible to unlock skills for each of these characters or to customize their equipment.
Finally, let us recall narrative background of Redfall: vampires, creatures from scientific experiments gone wrong, have invaded the island. However, they will not be the only enemies that players will have to face. You will also have to face an army of bodybuilders, worshiping vampires.
At this time, Arkane Austin and Bethesda Softworks have not shared a specific release date. Redfall is due out in 2023, on PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store) and Xbox consoles. The title should arrive, as soon as it is officially launched, on the Xbox Game Pass.
