Door 21 in the download advent calendar: order in the file system

Filenames that do not mean anything are just annoying, as they make it impossible to find the right photos, songs or videos in Windows. Digital cameras in particular often have strange naming schemes. If you try to give them a uniform name in one fell swoop using Windows Explorer, they will be given a consecutive number in brackets at the end – at least.

But the full version, which is available in the 21st door of our CHIP advent calendar, makes it a lot better. You can use it to determine which format the file names should have. For example a combination of text and the file date: Holidays_Spain_2021-10-09.

You will find out which software it is exactly at midnight. Until then, take a look at the other free downloads in the advent calendar.
