Rescue Heli Mission – Fell down a shaft while carrying furniture

When putting away furniture, a 36-year-old fell into a two-and-a-half meter deep shaft in his home town of Innerschwand in Upper Austria on Wednesday afternoon. He was flown to the Vöcklabruck Clinic.

A 36-year-old from Innerschwand was busy on Wednesday around 5:50 p.m. on a private construction site in Innerschwand with three other people putting away furniture. While carrying a chest of drawers through the garage to a shaft that led to the basement, the 36-year-old stumbled and fell into the eight-foot-deep shaft, where he hit his shoulder on the concrete floor. The man was injured to an unspecified degree and after flown to the Salzkammergut Klinikum Vöcklabruck by the FF Innerschwand with the rescue helicopter.
