Fatal accident in the Zillertal Arena ski area on Tuesday! A German snowboarder (30) went over the slope and landed in a creek bed. The injured were rescued by helicopter.
At around 2.30 p.m. the German was snowboarding on the blue “Funty Piste” in the Zillertal Arena. Suddenly he got over the edge of the slope and onto a snow hill about two meters high. “As a result, the man then fell five meters into a creek bed behind it,” says the police. The 30-year-old sustained injuries in the fall. He was rescued with a rope and flown to the clinic in Innsbruck.
