Research section (TF1): Was Fabienne Carat dubbed for the stunts?

Fabienne Carat is back in a special double episode of “Research Section” broadcast Thursday February 1, 2024 on TF1. The opportunity for Télé Star to find out everything about his role and his physical performances.

Two years. This is the time that has passed since the end of the last episode of “Research Section”. And yes, remember: at the time, viewers said goodbye to Captain Bernier, putting an end to fourteen seasons of good and loyal service within the gendarmerie. For the occasion, no less than 5.07 million people were there in front of their screen. Enough to make the production want to come back for a special double episode.

The idea therefore arose to build an intrigue on Reunion Island with Jeanne (Fabienne Carat), Lucas (Franck Sémonin), Ariel (Elise Tielrooy) and the young retired groom (Xavier Deluc). In this new episode, which tells the story of the discovery of a young woman’s body during a cruise, we find Fabienne Carat in a very physical role. Moreover, as she confided to Télé Star, it is she who performs all her stunts, especially those in “cascades and torrents”. “It was almost climbing and super sporty! It was so steep that they had installed big ropes for us to hang on to. But I love getting out of my comfort zone and doing stunts or even combat sports.” she said.

Fabienne Carat slimmed down in “Research Section”: did the actress train drastically?

For her return to “Research Section”, we discover Fabienne Carat slimmed down and very muscular. However, the young woman did not follow any specific training. “These are old leftovers from before pregnancy. I appear very thin in this episode because I took care of my daughter a lot and I ate less. I was in a sort of maternal emotional overload.” she explained. After Reunion, Fabienne Carat will fly to Martinique for the filming of a new film.
