Resident Evil 2-3-7 now has graphical improvements – Resident Evil 7 Biohazard

As a reminder, last March, Capcom announced that a next-gen update, bringing significant graphic improvements, would be deployed soon for Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7. At that time, the company had not given more information as to the possible release date of this patch. This is now a thing of the past.

Indeed, during their recent conference, the one that took place on the night of June 13 to 14, Capcom announced that the next-gen patch was now available. As a result, Resident Evil 2, Resident 3 and Resident Evil 7 now benefit from the ray tracing, new 3D audio spatialization, high frame rate and 4K support, on PS5 and Xbox Series. In addition, the PS5 version of these opuses supports haptic feedback and the adaptive triggers of the DualSense.

PC gamers are not left out, either, as an update is also available on Steam and brings the ray tracing. However, this changes the PC configurations required to play these titles. It is now required to have Windows 10.

Note that all those who already have these titles in their video game library will not have to pay a single penny to take advantage of this upgrade.
