Resident Evil 4: Capcom warns of a bug that could prevent progress in the game

Already a week ago, Capcom was throwing Resident Evil 4, remake of its cult horror and action game. A title that appealed to fans of the original and newcomers to the franchise, even if the experience is not totally perfect: there is in particular a rather annoying technical bug.

Today, Capcom just posted a message on social networks to warn players of Resident Evil 4. A bug can sometimes occur at some point in the adventure, doing a specific action and preventing progress. Fortunately, the Japanese developer explains all this avoiding the spoilers :

A cutscene occurs at the start of Chapter 12, after which the player receives a key item. Please refrain from attacking with the knife until the notification of obtaining this item is displayed in the upper right corner of the screen.

After obtaining this key item, it will appear in the Key Items and Treasures menu of the Briefcase. If it does not appear, please reload a save before Chapter 12.

This should prevent a lot of players from being trapped. Capcom concludes by announcing thathe will soon release an update to fix this bug, its effect should be retroactive on corrupt saves. Whether Resident Evil 4 interests you, you can find it at €53.99 on Gamesplanet.
