Resident Evil 4 VR: an update launched, the Mercenaries mode formalized

Last year, Studio frame launched exclusively on the Meta Quest 2 Resident Evil 4 VR, a revisited virtual reality version of the survival horror of Capcom. The title has won over critics and gamers, but the developers are not giving up on their game and have just launched the first major update.

Well, there’s no real new content in this patch, but it greatly improves mobility and comfort options, following player feedback. the gameplay is refined, with a new directional movement of the controller, the possibility of changing the dominant hand for movement (left-handers will be delighted) and a new height adjustment. Additionally, players can now adjust the position of items on the chest and the size of Leon, and change the color of the weapons laser pointer. Finally, more reload options have been added, the game has been optimized and save bugs have been fixed.

But this is only the first update of 2022 for Resident Evil 4 VR, the developers formalize the mode The Mercenaries, which leaked last year. This mini-game requires a reminder to survive against hordes of enemies while waiting to be evacuated by helicopter. An action-oriented mode with different playable characters and which will therefore be to unlock for free later this year.

If you are not yet equipped, you can find the Meta Quest 2 128 GB to €349.99 on Amazon.
