Retro FPS Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun will pound our screens on May 23

To be more precise, Boltgun is part of the neo-retro trend, combining large polygons, 2D effects, modern displacements and boring oldschool. A famous mix on a heavy metal background, just to drive the point home of the 1990s. Through a series of open levels, undoubtedly containing many secrets to unearth, we will embody a veteran Space Marine going to war against Demons and other Space Marines of Chaos, purifying the galaxy with great bursts of Boltgun and other chainswords in a great tripaille festival. A (short) new trailer also illustrates the simplicity of the concept, as you can see below.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun will arrive on May 23 on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch. Pre-orders are also open on the official website for all platforms, except Nintendo’s portable.
