Revised for Starfield: Despite the new graphics driver, Intel’s A770 does not meet the requirements

You can play Starfield not only on Xbox Series X/S, but also on PC and accordingly there are appropriately optimized drivers for the latest role-playing game from Bethesda.

As the company writes on Twitter, Intel has also revised its own drivers to fix errors when playing Starfield. Among other things, the long loading times should be resolved.

But the efforts may be useless. Reddit user GeneralAkAbA apparently wrote to Bethesda Support after a few lags and received an answer that suggests that you cannot play Starfield with Intel graphics cards.

Minimum requirements with Intel graphics cards

As Bethesda support writes, an Intel Arx A770 does not meet the minimum requirements of the game. Possible solutions that Bethesda could offer are probably even harmful to the Reddit user’s system.

However, this information from Bethesda confuses some commenters on Twitter, and not entirely without good reason, because the minimum requirements for Starfield are the AMD RX 5700 and the Nvidia RTX 1070 Ti.

Lack of solutions

In terms of performance, however, the A770 is better than the RTX 1070 Ti, because it is also comparable to the RTX 3060. This is especially true if you use the 16 GB version of the graphics card.
