These various leagues will also represent a new way for teams to qualify for the two future international Masters of the year 2023 as well as the VALORANT Championsdesignating the world champion team.

With VALORANT, we want to build the most thrilling esport around right now alongside the best-run, most ambitious, and most exciting teams in the industry. We designed our long-term partnership model for VALORANT so that teams can thrive and grow their business alongside the overall growth of VALORANT Esports.

A brand new in-game competitive mode should also join VALORANT, allowing players get more opportunities to qualify for professional events. This new competitive mode would therefore be available directly within the game in addition to Ranked mode.

Riot Games’ objective for this year 2022 is to make VALORANT the first competitive FPS in the world by identifying the right long-term partners through a selective application process. Financial support will also be provided to teams meeting the selection criteria in the form of an annual stipend and the exclusive opportunity to collaborate on unique in-game activations and products.

We want to build the highest level of competition that will deliver more exciting matches, new events that will thrill live audiences, and engaging experiences for millions of fans online. We will use everything we have learned over the past 10 years with LoL Esports to build an ecosystem that will energize VALORANT into the next great multi-generational competitive scene.
