Riverdale quiz and its WTF moments: only fans will be able to recognize the series’ most ridiculous plots

The Riverdale series has had its share of completely wacky intrigues and season 6 seems to place the cursor even further. Do you remember the most WTF moments of the series?

Warning, spoilers. It is advisable to have seen the available episodes of season 6 of Riverdale on Netflix before continuing to read this article.

Based on the Archie Comics characters, Riverdale is a drama series with an eye toward thriller and even fantasy that features a gang of teenage boys beset by mysteries. The friendly-looking first season of Twin Peaks won over the public and suggested that Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa’s series would continue on this path.

It is not so since today arrived in season 6, one often wonders what the writers think of when they write the intrigues of Riverdale. It’s hard to name and remember all the weird, inconsistent, ridiculous, and awkward moments the show is so full of. We are now very far from the friendly inaugural season and most people who continue to watch Riverdale often wonder why.

Undeniably falling into the “guilty pleasure” category, Riverdale will have offered us some anthology sequences, for the wrong reasons, of course, but it seems that the series, after a time jump, has reached its point of no return with the latest twist introduced in episode 6 of season 6.

After the bombing at Archie’s (KJ Apa) home and premeditated by Hiram Lodge (Mark Consuelos), the people of Riverdale are upset and seek to protect the town from its enemies, especially the Ghoulies. In their quest, Archie and Betty (Lili Reinhart), who works at the FBI, discover superpowers (yes, yes, you read that right). The first now has superhuman strength and the second has an over-developed sixth sense that allows him to spot the bad guys.

In honor of this new intrigue out of nowhere and hilarious, AlloCiné offers you a little quiz on the most WTF moments of Riverdale. The question is whether you remember the most mythical ones?

Season 6 of Riverdale is currently being broadcast in US+24 on Netflix in France. Good (or bad?) news, the series that everyone loves to hate has officially been renewed for a season 7.
