The daily program “Les Grandes Gueules” broadcast on RMC is parting ways with a member of the team, columnist Mourad Boudjellal. The businessman was dismissed because of his support for candidate Emmanuel Macron. A former support columnist, for Éric Zemmour, was surprised at his continued presence on the air.

It is a figure of big mouths who leaves the show. Businessman and columnist Mourad Boudjellal was dismissed from the daily meeting broadcast on RMC for his displayed support for candidate Emmanuel Macron. This weekend, he took for the incumbent president during his rally in Marseille and addressed the voters of Marine Le Pen: “If you think that the origins have an impact on the aptitude, you are racist. ( …) To all those who vote National Front (sic), if you think it has to do with origin, you are racist.”

Pass of arms with a former columnist supporting Zemmour

After this speech, Benjamin Cauchy, a former columnist for the show dismissed for having shown his support for Éric Zemmour, challenged the big mouths on Twitter. He was surprised at the continued presence of Mourad Boudjellal on the air, after his claimed support for Emmanuel Macron.

The show’s Twitter account also replied to the former columnist: “The rule is the same for everyone. Les Grandes Gueules, as soon as support is announced, are discarded. Same treatment for Charles Consigny or Mourad Boudjellal. Official support = speaking time counted down.”

Boudjellal should no longer intervene as a columnist

Monday morning, Mourad Boudjellal still spoke in The Big Mouths for three minutes, but the show claims that this speaking time has been counted. He should therefore no longer intervene in this daily meeting as a columnist.
