Frank Rosin offered ten people the chance of a new life in the social documentary “Rosin’s Heroes’ Kitchen”. Three prospective chefs were able to convince the restaurateur and his guest judges and have secured a training position.

The season finale of “Rosin’s Heroes’ Kitchen – Last Chance Dream Job” provided excitement, drama and two shattered dreams. Even for Frank Rosin, 55, this project was an enormous challenge. “It was the hardest work project I’ve ever had,” explained the star chef in an interview with GALA. How great the tension was not only among the candidates, but also among Frank Rosin himself, erupted like a tornado in the last episode.

“Rosin’s Hero’s Kitchen”: Brian takes his chance at a new life

The single mother Kasia, 40, the school dropout Pia, 26, the convicted Andre, 29, as well as the ex-drug addict Brian, 25, and the secondary school graduate Dominik, 23, fought in the final for one of the coveted training places in top gastronomy. But the episode started with a catastrophe: week after week, Rosin preached punctuality and discipline. “I like you all, but if that’s not there, you’re kicked out,” the 55-year-old warned his protégés before the all-important day.

An appeal that Brian didn’t take too seriously. He overslept and later showed up on the set. For Frank Rosin it was clear: That was it for the 25-year-old. He catapults himself out. A shock for Brian. But the star chef would not be persuaded, even after requests.

These are the three winners

On the decisive day, everyone’s nerves were visibly on edge. And so the candidate Pia knotted – as so often on the show – in lies, small glitches and the need for explanation. A behavior that is not tolerated in an apprenticeship. The constant excuses of the 26-year-olds and their false accusations of the other candidates ultimately ensure the end.

In the final, top chef Daniel Georgiev chose 29-year-old Andre. “I think I’ll give you a new home where you feel comfortable,” says the restaurateur. Andre can hardly believe his luck and burst into tears of joy. “I’m very proud of myself,” Andre summed up his performance. Kasia also gets an apprenticeship. She can learn from Frank Rosin himself and continue to show what she’s made of in his restaurant. Dominik is going to Berlin: The 23-year-old is being trained by The Duc Ngo, 47. Pia was visibly shocked by her departure. However, she did not leave the show completely empty. Andreu Genestra offered her an internship where she can prove her talent for three months.
