In the 18th season of the ARD series "Rote Rosen" there will be two leading actresses for the first time: Jana Hora-Goosmann and Judith Sehrbrock.
Small sensation in "Rote Rosen": Jana Hora-Goosmann (52) and Judith Sehrbrock (47) play the main roles in the 18th chapter of the successful Daily Novela. The ARD announced in a press release. The two actresses replace Claudia Schmutzler (53), who was the focus of the last season. The main character of the series filmed in Lüneburg changes every 200 episodes. The fact that two women share the main story is a novelty.
Two "old hands" in the TV business
With Jana Hora-Goosmann and Judith Sehrbrock, Das Erste was able to win two actresses tried and tested in series for "Rote Rosen", both of whom have already been to "Tatort". Hora-Goosmann also took on roles in the "SOKO" series, "Die Wache" and "Coast Guard". Sehrbrock played for example in the series "Behind Gittern – Der Frauenknast", "Alphateam – Die Lebensretter im OP" and "Notruf Hafenkante".
In the new season, Hora-Goosmann moves to Lüneburg as Mona Herzberg, where she meets Tatjana Petrenko, played by Sehrbrock. A friendship develops between the two women, but there is also a secret that binds them together. The new season is expected to be seen in the first from mid-October 2020.
