Roxette's mourning again: Per Gessle informed the fans on Twitter that drummer Pelle Alsing has died.

Roxette's drummer Pelle Alsing has died at the age of 60. The cause of death is not known. On the Twitter account of the Swedish band by Per Gessle (61) it says: "It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that our beloved Pelle Alsing has passed away. Not only was P a great and inventive drummer who helped us create the Rox sound since day 1, he was also our best friend One can imagine a kind and generous man whose big heart beat for everyone. "

In another tweet, Gessle wrote: "He was always the funniest on site, the one with the biggest smile on his face, the one who supported you the most when you had doubts." Per Gessle shared a picture of the drummer on his personal Twitter accounton which he is smiling at the camera. Pelle Alsing worked on some of the Swedish band's albums and performed live with Roxette from the 1980s onwards.

A year ago, on December 9, 2019, Roxette star Marie Fredriksson died at the age of 61 from complications from cancer. Roxette is known for hits like "It Must Been Love", "Joyride", "Listen To Your Heart" or "The Look". The pop duo is said to have sold around 80 million albums worldwide.
