Princess Delphine talks about her desire to develop a relationship with the Belgian royal family.

Princess Delphine is hoping for a rapprochement

It has been a year since former King Albert, 86, of Belgium admitted to being the father of Delphine Boël, 52. She has been the Princess of Belgium since October 2020. Now that she has won the fight, the artist hopes to bond with the royal family. In an interview with the TV show "La Matinale" on the Belgian channel LN24, Princess Delphine said: "It takes work from both sides, there are of course wounds, but it is possible." This is proven by a meeting with her half-brother King Philipe, 60, and one with old King Albert, 86, and his wife Paola, 83, in October 2020.

Princess Delphine now seems to have arrived after a long journey that took her to court. "I feel like me. I didn't feel like me before. What I've been entitled to since I was born is here now."

The princess also shares her view of the monarchy in an interview: The royal family must develop and become more modern over time. Delphine believes her story is good proof that you are on the right track.
