This Thursday, TVNow users will find a new name for the streaming service: What are the consequences of the renaming to RTL +?

From November 4th, TVNow users will be confronted with an innovation: the streaming service is now called RTL +. What changes does this mean for the subscribers?

With the new name, RTL is bundling its TV and streaming entertainment offerings under one media brand. This goes hand in hand with a cross-platform, uniform design. “With RTL + we want to offer our audience Germany’s largest entertainment world in the future,” explains RTL + Co-Managing Director Henning Tewes. “Users can look forward to even more high-quality entertainment – especially in the fiction area.”

With the renaming, the packages RTL + Free (free), RTL + Premium (4.99 euros) and RTL + Premium Duo (7.99 euros) also get a new name. The most important thing for the subscribers: the prices remain unchanged.

These formats will be available from November 4th

Right at the start of RTL +, the streaming service is waiting for new productions to be launched: the judicial drama “Ferdinand von Schirach – Faith” with Peter Kurth (64) and the second season “KBV – No special incidents” will be available from November 4th.

International series such as the new “Gossip Girl” reboot and the second season “Why Women Kill” will also be available. The in-house produced reality formats “Hip Hop – Born to Dance” and “Unbreakable” will also be available on RTL + from the start.

The drama series “Faking Hitler” with Lars Eidinger (45) and Moritz Bleibtreu (50), the new family series “Friedmanns Vier” and the event series “Sisi” with Jannik Schümann (29) in the leading role will follow by the end of the year. An exact start date has not yet been set for these three productions.
