The RTX 4070 Ti should be launched tomorrow, but ahead of the official presentation, we already know everything about the data sheet of Nvidia’s new high-end graphics card.
While we expect the new RTX 4070 Ti graphics card tomorrow, Nvidia did not wait for the official conference to publish all the technical characteristics on its official website. It seems that one of the marketing teams made a mistake by publishing the data in advance.
As expected in previous months, Nvidia confirms that the RTX 4070 Ti is not completely unknown to us. In addition to its RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 16 GB, Nvidia also announced an RTX 4080 with only 12 GB of memory. However, its launch was ultimately cancelled. Everything therefore led to believe that it would return as the RTX 4070 Ti, and that is indeed what will happen.
The RTX 4070 Ti is the old RTX 4080 12 GB
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card will use a GPU with 7680 CUDA cores that can be boosted to 2.61 GHz and embark 12 GB of GDDR6X memorywhich are the general specs of the GeForce RTX 4080 12GB. The RTX 4070 Ti will be powered by the AD104 GPU in its complete configuration with a 192-bit memory interface.
Along with the base specs, Nvidia revealed some relative performance numbers. New Ada Lovelace-based card is 80% to 260% faster than Ampere-based GeForce RTX 3080 12GBaccording to Nvidia.
We remind you that Nvidia should launch the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti tomorrow at CES. So expect the company’s partners to show off plenty of custom graphics cards with this GPU. Moreover, we already know that the RTX 4070 Ti will be cheaper than expected. While the RTX 4080 12 GB was going to be offered at 899 dollars, or 1099 euros in France, the RTX 4070 Ti would only be marketed at 799 dollars, or around 999 euros in France. We will have to wait for the official presentation to be sure.
