Rugby: here is the program of the French XV for the rest of 2024

By beating England to the wire (33-31), thanks to a penalty from Thomas Ramos at the last minute, the French XV partly made us forget its poor start to the Six Nations Tournament, won for the second time in a row by Ireland. This Saturday, March 16, the Blues finished with the major competition of the season, but many important meetings are looming in the coming months.

Two matches against the Pumas, in Argentina

For the summer tour, Fabien Galthié’s players will travel to Argentina to face the Pumas twice: July 6 and July 13. Between these two matches, a French “development” team will face Uruguay, but this match will not be considered an official match. This same development team should also face a world selection during a gala match on June 22 in Bilbao. The players who participated in the last Rugby World Cup will not be traveling to South America, since the coach wants to give them a few days of vacation after a grueling World Cup-VI Nations Tournament sequence.

At the end of the year, the Blues will host three important nations in world rugby for the Autumn Nations Series. For their reunion with the Stade de France, Fabien Galthié’s players will face Japan on November 9 then they will host New Zealand the following week. To close the 2024 season, the French will meet the Pumas for a third and final clash in 2024.

The upcoming calendar for the XV of France in 2024:

– France – World XV: June 22 in San-Mamès

– Argentina – France: July 13 in Buenos Aires
