A Foxconn employee reveals a detail about the iPhone 15 that should make all Apple customers happy if it’s correct.
In addition to improved camera quality and a fresh housing design, one feature is at the top of the wish list for future iPhone 15 owners.
Will this wish finally come true in September 2023? A post on the Chinese network Weibo and a message from the Chinese website ITHome give cause for hope.

ITHome spoke to a Foxconn employee about the upcoming iPhone 15 generation. The source, which has not yet been made public, tells the magazine that the battery sizes will increase significantly compared to the iPhone 14.
The iPhone 15 should have an 18 percent larger battery. The growth for the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro is 14 percent, and for the iPhone 15 Pro Max it is still 12 percent. This would result in the following battery sizes for the individual models:
- iPhone 15: 3877mAh (iPhone 14: 3279mAh)
- iPhone 15 Plus: 4,912mAh (iPhone 14 Plus: 4,325mAh)
- iPhone 15 Pro: 3,650mAh (iPhone 14 Pro: 3,200mAh)
- iPhone 15 Pro Max: 4852mAh (iPhone 14 Pro Max: 4323mAh)
You should still view this information with a dose of skepticism, but it does not appear unrealistic, especially since the housing sizes of the iPhone 15 generation are expected to increase slightly. In Chinese networks there is also talk of the storage capacity of the iPhone 15 Pro being at least 256 gigabytes.
