Sony launched its PlayStation 5 in 2020, a home console which is already in the second half of its life cycle. The PlayStation 5 Pro would be launched at the end of 2024, Sony is obviously aimed at the holiday season, but the release could be postponed because the manufacturer has already announced that it will not release any big titles first party before March 2025. Launching a console without a huge game to highlight its capabilities would indeed be shooting yourself in the footit remains to be seen how Sony will manage.
