Actor Rupert Grint already has a plan to introduce his little daughter to the “Harry Potter” film series.
Rupert Grint (33) played the wizard’s apprentice’s best friend, Ron Weasley, in eight “Harry Potter” films. 20 years after the first film in the series, the former child star continues to pursue his acting career. He can currently be seen in the mystery psychological thriller series “Servant” on the AppleTV+ streaming service. However, he can never completely break away from “Harry Potter”, as he explained in an interview with the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung”.. “I thought I’d close that door tighter sometime,” Grint explains. “But I don’t want that at all. I don’t want to hide from it, I loved those years – just as I love what I’m doing now.” “Harry Potter” will “always be a big part of me”.
He is proud to be part of a film series that “continues to reach new generations”. “The film spin-offs, the theme park and the stage play are all ongoing, and the enthusiasm hasn’t waned,” says Rupert Grint. He is still approached on the street by people “who are happy that these films are part of their lives”.
His colleagues also continued to play an important role, and the stars of the film series recently celebrated a TV reunion to mark the 20th anniversary of the first film. “We share wonderful memories, we grew up together, I spent my entire childhood with these people,” Grint said. Seeing his former colleagues again is like “good therapy”.

Rupert Grint also wants to introduce his daughter, born in May 2020, to the “Harry Potter” world as soon as she is old enough. However, “first with the books”.
