(CercleFinance.com) – Saint-Gobain posted one of the strongest rises in the CAC 40 index of the Paris Stock Exchange on Friday after the recommendation of analysts at Stifel, who made the stock their favorite stock in the sector .
At 12:30 p.m., the action of the French building materials giant won 1.4% while the CAC only took 0.5%.
Stifel this morning raised its recommendation on the action to buy with a price target raised to 68 euros against 52 euros, which represents an upside potential of nearly 30% compared to the closing price on Thursday.
In a study, the analyst says he expects a revaluation of the European construction sector, which he sees returning to its valuation levels before the 2008 financial crisis within a year or three years, thanks to government aid for decarbonization and energy renovation projects.
