Salaries: strong salary increases planned for 2022 and 2023


INFO LE FIGARO – Due to inflation, companies have revised their compensation forecasts upwards this year.

A highlight of social dialogue in companies, the mandatory annual negotiation (NAO) – regulatory in those of more than 50 employees, and part of the discussions on remuneration – no longer focuses this year on a single period, as traditionally.

The continuous rise in inflation, in the context of the crisis in Ukraine, led more than half of the companies to conduct three negotiations during the first half of the year, despite not having provided for a review clause, according to a study carried out by the Alixio firm with a hundred large companies. Only 16% of the structures surveyed remained confined to a single negotiation.

“Initially, companies negotiated on the basis of the 2021 context.
