Sales / Good deal – The HP Neverstop Laser 1001nw “5 stars” printer at €134.50 (-49%)

The refillable toner laser printers of the HP Neverstop Laser range announce a very low cost per page. We got our hands on one of these promising machines to test this new technology.

Like the HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1202nw, the HP Neverstop Laser 1001nw won us over with its very low cost per page (€0.009) – which does not fit into the overall rating – but retains its few minor flaws.

Strong points

  • Very good print quality.
  • Very low cost per page (€0.009).

Weak points

  • Slightly disappointing print speeds for a laser printer.
  • No automatic duplex mode.
  • Rudimentary and non-orientable control panel.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).

Alternatively

Less expensive and more recommendable than an HP LaserJet Pro M203dw, this Brother HL-L2375DW has everything to please in its register. It abandons the advanced functions to concentrate on the essentials: it prints quickly, well, and for not very expensive.
