(CercleFinance.com) – Salesforce announces a restructuring plan intended to reduce its operational costs and improve its margins, a plan including the elimination of approximately 10% of its current workforce, as well as the exit of real estate assets in certain markets .
The software group specializing in CRM (customer relationship management) expects to record approximately 1.4 to 2.1 billion dollars in charges related to this plan, including 800 million to one billion in the fourth quarter of its financial year 2022-23.
Measures related to job reductions are expected to be substantially completed by the end of FY2023-24, subject to local legislations and consultations, and those related to property restructuring, completed in FY2023-24. 2025-26.
