On "Reality Stars Fight" Sam Dylan and Kate Merlan spoke about a possible surrogacy. Now they are making concrete plans.
It literally started as a crazy idea: In the finale of the RTLzwei trash show "Battle of Realitystars", Sam Dylan (29, "Prince Charming") told his colleague Kate Merlan (33), drunk, that he would have a surrogate mother like her for a future child with his Partner Rafi Rachek (30) wishes. Since then, the two reality stars have regularly made suggestions on their social media channels. Is there really anything to do with family planning? "We are currently looking to see if it is really an option that we have a child together and raise it together," Dylan confirms the rumors in an interview with the news agency spot on news.
"It wasn't meant seriously on site at first. It was just a blatant night," admits the 29-year-old. "We drank a lot and really celebrated once again that we were in the final. It just got out of the situation." But since the end of the film, a lot has happened in the life of the participants. "That was a few months ago now – over six months. Kate and I live in the same town and we spend a lot of time together."
TV wedding after the joys of fatherhood? – "Why not?"
The close friendship should become a "modern blended family" in the future. "We both have this wish," explains the 29-year-old. "Of course I even more, because I can't have a child. She wants that too and can't find the right partner."
Dylan and his partner Rafi Rachek made their relationship public in December 2019. Rachek came out as gay in autumn 2019 as part of the RTL dome show "Bachelor in Paradise". If Dylan has its way, a wedding will soon crown their love. "I'm always one step further than Rafi. But I keep working on him and now he's not that averse anymore. You never know what will be in a year or two." The reality star already knows exactly what this wedding should look like: "A gay wedding like in 'Sex and The City 2'". And preferably in front of the camera. "I'll say yes straight away," laughs the 29-year-old.
How does he do in the boxing ring?
On September 29th, Dylan will appear in the TV show "Das große Sat.1 Promiboxen" (8:15 pm). He climbs against Serkan Yavuz, known from the RTL dome show "Bachelor in Paradise", in the ring. The two already shared vigorously on their respective Instagram channels. "Serkan challenged me and I'm not saying no," Dylan explains his participation. He could also defend himself with his fists, not just with words. "And I get paid for the whole thing well – that's my motivation accordingly."
