Even for stars like Sam Smith, the search for love in the pandemic is more difficult. The singer now has a profile on Tinder.

Sam Smith (27, "Love Goes") is looking for great love. After the singer was unsuccessful on other dating apps, his friends are now looking for potential partners for the single on Tinder. This is reported by the British newspaper "The Sun", citing a source and screenshots of Smith's alleged profile.

Smith's search for love was made more difficult by the pandemic, as with many other singles. Now friends of the 27-year-old have taken the scepter in hand and registered him on Tinder. An anonymous source told the newspaper, "Sam has been single for ages and his friends are trying hard to find someone." One hopes to meet someone who is not bothered by the fame of the British. Friends of the star sort the matches and then send him the candidates.

Gender does not play a role when looking for a partner

As early as October last year, the Grammy winner confessed in an interview with Andy Cohen on his late night show that he had registered on the dating app Hinge. However, he was banned from the app because the profile was thought to be a fake. According to information from "The Sun", Smith was also looking for a partner on the celebrity dating app Raya.

Sam Smith was last in a relationship with actor Brandon Flynn (27, "Dead Girls Don't Lie") until 2018. For the singer, who identifies himself as non-binary and wants to be addressed with the English pronoun "they / them", gender does not play a role when looking for a partner. In October 2020, Smith told The Sun, "I've never lived by rules. I love people and whoever I fall in love with, I fall in love with."
