Samsung’s Bespoke ecosystem rollout starts with a stick vacuum. The Bespoke Jet One is the new flagship from the South Korean manufacturer. It is therefore sold with a drain station which allows the collector to be emptied automatically while charging the device.
Samsung’s Bespoke ecosystem started in France with the manufacturer’s refrigerators that can be modulated and personalized as desired. In accordance with the manufacturer’s intentions, this tailor-made ecosystem now extends to another household appliance: the stick vacuum cleaner. The Bespoke Jet One presents itself as the new flagship of the brand, combining design and performance.
Like the other Samsung Jets in the catalogue, this new model recovers the stick format: the collector, the motor and the filtration system are placed near the wrist of the user to facilitate its use and its orientation in all directions. The weight of the machine, announced at 1.4 kg, should simplify its use, whether on the ground or on sofas, curtains or on top of furniture. The engine here would be lighter than that which equips the Jet 90, without this impacting the suction efficiency.
A multi-stage automatic drain system
Where Samsung hopes to do well in the highly competitive stick vacuum sector, massively dominated by Dyson, is by including an automatic dump station in its Jet One. The Clean Station uses the South Korean giant’s Air Pulse technology, which automatically empties the dust container without “that no fine particles escape”. This station, which also allows you to recharge the vacuum cleaner, incorporates an automatic cyclonic emptying system, which separates the fine dust particles from the larger ones. The fine dust would then be captured by a microfilter, while an ultrafine dust filter would retain the microdust. This filtration system, in several stages, allows to reject a healthier air without loss of aspiration. If more and more robot vacuum cleaners are sold with an automatic emptying station (iRobot, Roidmi, Roborock, Ecovacs, etc.), this feature is much rarer on stick vacuum cleaners and seems very promising. The chore of emptying on an upright vacuum comes quickly due to the low capacity of the collector and the maintenance is tedious.
Like its predecessors, the Jet One is equipped with a small LCD display which indicates to the user the level of suction selected or the remaining autonomy and provides maintenance information (absence or cleaning of filters, etc.). Autonomy, for its part, is announced at one hour, at minimum power and without motorized accessory in action, which ultimately says little about the ability of this Jet One to hold the charge when it vacuums the ground.
While Samsung’s previous stick vacuums were compatible with a dual-pad scrubbing brush, the Bespoke Jet One can accommodate an optimized version of the motorized dual mop. This new version of the washing brush now incorporates a small water tank (150 ml) which allows you to spray water to make washing the floor easier. This system is improved here since, with the previous version of the brush, it was up to the user to moisten the pads upstream, which could prove to be somewhat restrictive.
The Bespoke Jet One will be available in France from March at €799. Three colors will be available: Midnight Blue, Misty White and Woody Green.
