Despite a new mechanism, the inner display of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is unfortunately not as much improved as hoped. This disadvantage of the predecessor will probably continue to exist.

- However, it should be 15 percent lower than its predecessor.

Various new technologies are intended to make the Galaxy Z Fold 5 thinner and more dust-resistant. However, Samsung could not have completely eliminated a disadvantage of the predecessor, as announced by IceUniverse, known for leaks, on Twitter. A visible crease will probably remain.
The hinge of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will probably have a “droplet” mechanism, but the effect of this technology is not as strong as expected. Instead of an almost invisible display crease in the inner display, this has only been reduced by 15 percent.
While there might be a visible difference with this improvement, it’s arguably not necessarily noticeable. According to the leaker, the new model was mistaken for the Galaxy Z Fold 4. A transparent cover that has appeared has already shown that the design could only change minimally on the back.
