Actor celebrates 43 years of marriage with sweet Instagram posts
LaTanya Richardson and Samuel L. Jackson have been married for 43 years.

Samuel L. Jackson and his wife LaTanya Richardson celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary – also on Instagram.
Jackson shared his private moment with his fans on Instagram. He posted a black-and-white photo of himself and his wife on his Instagram story, writing that the past 43 years had passed “quickly”.
On another picture of him sitting in a chair in front of his wife, who poses smiling behind him, he revealed: “It’s actually 53. She has me ten [Jahre lang] tested. I passed”. There are also laughing smileys and several heart-eye emojis.
In the last video, the two dance together on a yacht and are cheered on by other party guests. Jackson writes: “I think we can do 43 more! Love forever!!!!!!”
How was the engagement back then?
The actress and producer and the Hollywood star walked in front of the altar in 1980. However, the couple have different versions of how they got engaged, Jackson told a talk show a few years ago. “My story is that one day I came home and [LaTanya] already printed out those invitations, handed me a stack of them and said ‘Be there'”, Jackson told presenter Jennifer Hudson (41).
LaTanya, however, feels that he was classically asking her grandfather for her hand in marriage. “That’s probably what happened because I was on drugs at the time and didn’t know what the hell was going on at the time,” the Pulp Fiction star explained. And admitted, “So she’s probably right!”
The couple have one daughter together, Zoe, now 41.
