A fan asked if this meant a second season was coming, which Gaiman quickly denied. According to the author, Netflix is waiting to see the evolution of the series during its first month on the streaming service before committing further.
Even if the streamer is not ready to commit to a second season just yet, it seems very unlikely that the series will be canceled.
