Sandra Bullock has been part of Hollywood’s elite for decades. But for now she is turning her back on the dream factory.

In the past few decades, Sandra Bullock (57) has appeared in blockbusters like “Gravity”, the Netflix hit “Bird Box” and in many other productions. For now, however, the actress wants to take a break from appearing in front of the camera, as she tells in an interview with “Entertainment Tonight”..

She said she didn’t know how long she didn’t want to shoot anymore. At the moment she has to stay in the place “that makes me happiest”. And that is in her home with her children Louis and Laila. “I take my job very seriously when I’m at work,” Bullock continues. Then she is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. But she would rather be “24/7 with my babies and my family” for a while.

Several years away from the camera?

The 57-year-old also recently spoke about this step on South by Southwest, as reported by the industry magazine “Variety”.. During a question and answer session, she indicated that the break could last several years. So she wants to be active again as a producer, but probably only when her children are 16 or 17-year-old teenagers. The two were born in 2010 and 2012.

Before that, , fans can see the actress alongside Channing Tatum (41) and Daniel Radcliffe (32) in “The Lost City – The Secret of the Lost City”. The adventure will be in German cinemas on April 21st. Bullock also has a role in “Bullet Train” with Brad Pitt (58), which is scheduled to start in the summer.
