Finale for the series "Sankt Maik": This week, the shooting of the eight-part and last season started near Cologne, as UFA Fiction announced. The third season of the Dramedy series, which runs on RTL, concludes the stories about trickster Maik Schäfer (Daniel Donskoy) and his Läuterberger community. "I am looking forward to shooting with my wonderful colleagues again before we release 'Sankt Maik' into series heaven," explains lead actor Donskoy about the final episodes.
That's what season three is all about
As "Pastor Sanmann" Maik mixes up his sheep again properly and does not get past policewoman Eva Hellwarth (Bettina Burchard) so easily, it says about the last consequences: After Maik was unmasked by Eva, he has to try to trust her recover.
It doesn't help that an old friend from Berlin shows up and takes him out of prison – Katja Marusic (Karolina Lodyga), the sister of the late gangster boss Jurek. Katja threatens Maik to make his brother Kevin disappear if he refuses to use his position as pastor of the congregation and his church as a transshipment point for her drug business.
