The story of the con artist Maik Schäfer will soon have its finale. RTL shows the last season on two days in August.
Leading actor Daniel Donskoy (31) slips back into the role of con artist Maik Schäfer. As RTL announced, the last season of the series “Sankt Maik” will be broadcast in August. Four of the eight new episodes can be seen on August 19 and 26 from 8:15 p.m. on the broadcaster. As of August 1st, the episodes of the third season are already available to premium members available from TV Now. The two previous seasons can then also be viewed there free of charge.
“I am very happy to have started my acting career in Germany with ‘Sankt Maik'”, explains Donskoy to the broadcaster. “So I’m all the more pleased that Maik and the main characters of the series as well as the audience get the ending they deserve.” In addition to the main actor, Bettina Burchard, Susi Banzhaf, Vincent Krüger and Marie Burchard will be there again. New to the cast include David Bredin, Karolina Lodyga and Roland Wolf.

After Maik (Donskoy) was exposed by the policewoman Eva (Burchard), he has to regain her trust. Suddenly, however, an old friend Maik turns up with Katja Marusic (Lodyga). She threatens to make his brother disappear if Maik refuses to use his church as a hub for drug deals.
