(CercleFinance.com) – The software publisher SAP on Thursday reduced its operating profit forecast for the whole of the 2022 financial year due to the impact of the war in Ukraine and the weakness of income from licenses.
The German group now says it anticipates a non-IFRS operating profit of between 7.6 and 7.9 billion euros, instead of 7.8 – 8.25 billion previously.
SAP shares fell more than 2.6% on Thursday morning on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange after this warning, attributed mainly to the cessation of its activities in Russia as a result of the Ukrainian conflict.
For the second quarter, SAP reported operating profit of 1.7 billion euros, down 13%, on revenue up 13% to nearly 7.5 billion euros. euros.
