Sarah Jessica Parker and her co-stars celebrated 25 years of “Sex and the City” at an event in New York City on Thursday.

Series star Sarah Jessica Parker (58) celebrated 25 years of “Sex and the City” on Thursday. She appeared at an event in New York City with her two co-stars Cynthia Nixon (57) and Kristin Davis (58). The fourth in the group at the time, Kim Cattrall (66), was not there.

Looks, shoes and famous scenes

The iconic looks of the series were presented in the pop-up exhibition. Parker, who plays columnist Carrie Bradshaw in the cult series, posed in a glittering sequined dress for photos including on the steps of a replica of Carrie’s apartment at 66 Perry Street. As “Mail Online” shows, among other thingsNixon and Davis also took the opportunity to climb Carrie’s stairs.

Nixon – who plays bisexual lawyer Miranda Hobbes – also looked very chic in a black and white color-block sweater dress. Davis – who plays Charlotte York Goldenblatt, an art dealer whose sexuality is handicapped by her religious upbringing – beamed in a black, fitted dress with a sweetheart neckline that rivaled the other two.

The ladies also posed for photos against backdrops inspired by their respective roles. Featured were some of her most memorable quotes and images from the series. Carrie’s famous shoe collection – including her beloved Jimmy Choo heels – was also displayed on a huge wall.

The event was presented by HBO’s streaming platform Max. After viewing the pop-up, the cast and guests headed to an exclusive after-party.

Waiting for “And Just Like That…”

“Sex and the City” ran from 1998 to 2004 and was expanded to include two films in 2008 and 2010. The series spin-off entitled “And Just Like That…” premiered in December 2021 with the first season. The second season can be seen in Germany from June 22nd on Sky and on the Wow streaming service.
