Aug 4 (Reuters) – Saudi Arabia has urged its nationals to quickly leave Lebanon and avoid areas plagued by armed conflict, the Saudi Embassy in Lebanon said in a statement to the network on Friday. social X, formerly Twitter.
The kingdom did not specify which areas it advised its nationals to avoid.
The Saudi diplomatic mission in Lebanon stressed “the importance of respecting the ban on travel to Lebanon,” the statement added.
At least 13 people were killed in clashes over the weekend in a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon where, according to security sources, members of Fatah clashed with groups close to the most extreme Islamist movements.
