London Clinic boss promises ‘appropriate investigation’

The head of the hospital where Princess Kate was treated has spoken out about the data protection scandal.
An investigation has reportedly been launched at the hospital where Princess Kate, 42, was treated in January. In addition, the board of the London Clinic has commented on the latest allegations against its hospital. The Mirror had previously reported that at least one hospital employee was said to have tried to gain access to the princess’s medical records.
London Clinic boss wants to take “appropriate investigative measures”.
Now, according to consistent media reports, Al Russell, CEO of the hospital, said in an official statement that “all appropriate investigative, regulatory and disciplinary measures will be taken” to investigate the allegations. He also emphasized that the hospital would have systems in place to monitor the handling of patient data.
The “Daily Mail” also quotes from the statement: “Everyone at London Clinic is aware of our individual, professional, ethical and legal responsibilities in relation to patient confidentiality. We take great pride in the excellent care and discretion we provide to all of our patients who place their trust in us on a daily basis to give, to strive for.”
ICO confirms data breach report
