Actually, it sounds very logical: if a thin layer of paper over your mouth and nose is to help against infection with a virus, a barrier made of thick material should be much more effective, right? Unfortunately, this is not the case – and anyone who feels so safe behind his scarf that he throws away the rules of distance and caution risks being infected immediately.
