Season 4 of Netflix’s The Witcher series will be synonymous with many changes. In addition to a new interpreter for Geralt of Rivia, the show intends to further push its links with CD Projekt RED games.
Just another way for Netflix to try to rally fans of the other adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher novels. In addition to the departure of Henry Cavill, questionable choices regarding the course of the series were not to everyone’s taste. Season 4 therefore has a lot to prove to win back its audience.
The Witcher Netflix will strengthen its connection with games
Season 4 of The Witcher is getting closer to its release on Netflix. It now remains to be seen whether the audience will be there to attend. Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia risks having a complicated baptism of fire. It must indeed come after the very convincing performance of a particularly passionate Henry Cavill when it comes to books and games from CD Projekt RED.
As such, Netflix could try to play on the heartstrings of fans of video game adaptations of The Witcher books. In addition to a new actor to play him, Geralt should indeed still be entitled to a new outfit. And this would be greatly inspired by the Grand Master version of that of the School of the Wolf in The Witcher 3. According to the first feedback close to the series, the overall result would be good for Liam.
Ciri will also change her wardrobe
It’s not just Liam in the skin of Geralt who will be entitled to a new look in the next season of The Witcher by Netflix. This will indeed pay very particular attention to Ciri. At the end of the third season, remember that she joined the Rats gang. Thus, she will have to adapt her outfit to this new unsavory life made in particular of theft.
In this sense, Netflix would apparently have drawn some more inspiration from The Witcher 3. Freya Allan should therefore wear a costume similar to that of Ciri in the game. Since Season 4 would be expected if all goes well at the end of 2024 or beginning of 2025, we should soon be entitled to a trailer. The opportunity to see what Liam gives in his new role, as well as these famous new costumes, but also actors.
