Season: a new trailer to get in the saddle

This trailer, which reminds us in passing that the game from Scavengers Studio benefits from full French (let’s say rather Quebec) dubbing, offers an artistic spectacle as attractive as its narrative premise remains intriguing. The player accompanies a young woman who has gone on an adventure by bike to meet the last inhabitants of a strange valley and record their stories in a logbook. Season is concerned with people but also with landscapes, the player being able to use a camera and a tape recorder to capture sights and sounds of nature.

Ostie d’calisse, would it be the end of the world

But this little trip takes place in a twilight atmosphere, the protagonist evoking a “change of season“which in fact symbolizes the end of an entire world, a world that knows itself condemned at the approach of a cataclysm. A story of transmission, not so much that of the heroine’s bike as that of the memories of a world slowly fading away, but whose souls are hopeful of finding each other on the other side.Highlighted by PlayStation, the game takes PS5 features into account and says it makes good use of adaptive triggers and feedback haptics when cycling (speed, road gradient, terrain surface).

Season: a letter for the future will be sold 30 euros on the PlayStation Store or 27 euros in case of pre-order for PlayStation Plus subscribers. On Steam and Epic Games Store, the game will be sold for 24.99 euros without counting a 10% reduction valid between its release and February 7.
