After seven years of absence, TF1 announced last October the return of Secret Story. Although the broadcast date has not yet been revealed, Parisian public transport users had a surprise this Thursday, March 28.
Secret Story is back. Last October, the leaders of TF1 announced the news. Broadcast between 2007 and 2017, this reality TV show brought out personalities like Benoît Dubois, Caroline Receveur, Ayem Nour and Capucine Anav. For 11 seasons, contestants agreed to be locked in a house and filmed all day. The goal : protect your secret as long as possible and increase your prize pool by discovering the secrets of other participants. Emilie Nef Naf had postponed the third season and pocketed a check for more than 150,000 euros.
Secret Story is back. The date has not yet been revealed but promotional messages have already started. Indeed, on Thursday March 28, 2024, the famous voice rang out in the metros but also on the RER platforms and Parisian stations. “The voice invites you to see you very soon for the return of Secret Story and don’t forget: beware of appearances!“, here is the message that users were able to hear during a promotional day organized on around a hundred lines and set up by Endemol France. Many Internet users have published sequences filmed in Châtelet-les Halles or even at Gare de Lyon. “The voice has an announcement of the utmost importance, other travelers could also hear it. Your mission, if you accept it, to keep an eye on your luggage and stay attentive to these often forgotten bags, which disrupt your journeys. The voice and the RATP want your secrets to remain well kept. See you soon for the return of Secret Story”, heard from other Internet users. An advertising campaign, to say the least, original.
Secret Story back without Benjamin Castaldi
For this return after seven years of absence, Benjamin Castaldi, who hosted the program from 2007 to 2014, will not return, angry with the leaders of TF1. “I stopped Secret Story of my own free will. I told the channel that I didn’t want to take shows like that anymore. There is a gap now. The candidates could be my children. You have to know how to move on. Now I’m a nice fifty-something”, confided the host in Buzz TV this Monday March 25. Ultimately, it is Christophe Beaugrand who will present Secret Story, as he did between 2014 and 2017.
