IA few minutes ago, you were in the metro. You got off at Porte Dorée station (the former Porte de Picpus took the name of the palace which now houses the Museum of the History of Immigration in 1931), walked towards the Bois de Vincennes… And , in an instant, you have fallen into another world. Far very far. First surrounded by lemurs and tapirs, jaguars and ostriches, you saw giraffes, heard a lion roar, observed manatees swimming. Then, after taking a side road spanning a pond where you could almost touch dozens of flamingos, you came across a group of baboons sunning themselves. What a change of scenery!
