(AOF) – The semiconductor sector should be under pressure today. According to the Wall Street Journal, the United States is considering new restrictions on the export of chips for artificial intelligence applications to China. The Commerce Department could take action as early as early next month to halt shipments of chips made by Nvidia and other chipmakers to customers in China and other affected countries without first obtaining a license, said sources familiar with the matter.
