A serious and unusual accident occurred on Saturday morning in Rietz in Tyrol: A motorcyclist (24) was trapped between an embankment and a garage wall after falling. The fire brigade had to free the seriously injured man.
On Saturday around 7.45 a.m., the 24-year-old local turned right off the street with his motorcycle on a local road in Rietz for reasons that are still unknown. He hit a garage wall, fell and was trapped between the embankment and the garage wall.
When the biker called for help, the residents of an adjacent house became aware of the accident and made an emergency call. The man was rescued by the Rietz and Telfs fire brigades and, after medical care, was flown by the emergency doctor’s helicopter to the clinic in Innsbruck. The man suffered serious injuries in the accident.
